Praise the King!

On behalf of our family we want to thank everyone again for giving so much of yourselves in standing with us for our son. We are overwhelmed with the love that has been poured out on us and of course are forever grateful for your prayers and support for our sweet, precious, perfect, baby Judah.

Although, we are suffering for the life we wanted to share with him, we have such peace and confidence in knowing where he is and that he is no longer struggling, there is no more pain... he is truly made new and perfect and whole. Thank you Jesus.

I'm so thankful that we can say with full assurance that we fought the good fight and have finished the course and have kept the faith...we gave Judah everything we had to give and we would've gladly given him more but God in His mercy and sovereignty knows all things and is above all things and we continue to Hope in Him and look forward to the day when we meet Judah Aslan in Glory.
His life has profoundly impacted ours and we will always "Praise our King" for entrusting us with such a uniquely precious gift. He will remain in our hearts forever.

"For you formed my inward parts; You wove me in my mother's womb.
I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Wonderful are Your works, and my soul knows it very well.
My frame was not hidden from You, when I was made in secret,
and skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth;
Your eyes have seen my unformed substance;
and in Your book were all written the days that were ordained for me,
when as yet there was not one of them.
How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God!
How vast is the sum of them!
If I should count them, they would out number the sand, when I awake, I am still with You."

Praise the Lord! Praise our Maker! Sing songs of Praise and thanksgiving to our King for He is dealt kindly with us and nothing is ever really lost when we commit our lives to Jesus.
We are so grateful that we were with Judah as his heart rate lowered and that we were able to tell him that we loved him as he was slipping away from us, he knew we pleaded for his life and that we fought for him with all our strength, and in the end we committed him into the Everlasting arms of his Creator.

Thank you again, our dear wonderful friends!
We also want to thank the incredible people at Boston's Children's Hospital for the care and ongoing work they are doing in Fetal interventions; offering hope and life to families with congenital heart defects. We absolutely believe in the extraordinary, life-saving work they are performing. They have asked us to offer Judah's body for continued research in this area, as they do not know what exactly caused his death.
We are honored to do so and hope that his life would not be in vain but that in some ways the world would be a better place because of him and that his story would continue to heal many more hearts...

*my girls and I have played this song probably a hundred times and each time it would come on they would stop whatever they were doing and squeal with shouts of joy and excitement, "It's Judah's SONG!!!"  and would lift their hands up to heaven and dance before God as they proclaimed Judah's wholeness. This song/painting is very special to us:
